Plein Air painting is so wonderful. The previous painting on the blog is the finished painting done on location. Like I spoke in the previous blog it was hard to see something to paint with all the trees around. It was hard to find the focus. May you find the wonderful gifts that God put in front of you and may you find your easel friendly.

While walking in the woods I came across a quiet stream called dry horse creek. It was an amazing spot with butterflies all about. When first looking at the sight it did not inspire me to paint but after looking at the sight for a moment I noticed that God had sent his light onto on little bush in the middle of the stream. May God shine his light on you today and may you find your easel friendly.

How many times do you make the comment Hey You? Who are you calling? When I painted these 3 bales of hay I thought of which one of these was calling my name to paint them. All 3!
Is there something in life that is calling your name to come and see or do? Do you stop and try to listen for them to say Hey You? Stop and listen for the callings of life and may you find your easel friendly.

It is that time of year that veggies are growing in the garden. My friend Barb returned a bowl with all these wonderful items in it. Fresh home grown veggies are so beautiful not only to eat but to paint. What a treat to get such a bounty. May you receive a bounty of life and may you find your easel friendly.

This beautiful pink rose was given to me by a friend. Receiving this rose brought warmth and joy to my heart. When pairing it with my antique creamer that is adorned with roses it just gave it such life. Isn't it just a blessing in life to have dear friends that bring you flowers to paint. May your friends bring you flowers and may you find your easel friendly.

Sun Flowers always make me feel so great. Big and bold with such a sunny disposition. They remind me that life can be as big as my heart desires. They bring warmth and bold color to any place they are placed. They make me feel loving and warm in their presence. Remember to be like a sunflower and let your sunny personality show the way. May your days be sunny and may you find your easel friendly.

Ever been driving down the road and admire beautiful flowers. Well here I was going down the road on vacation and see these wonderful Poppies along the road. Could not resist painting my first Poppies. The colors are so vibrant that you cannot capture their beauty. Have you ever seen something so beautiful that you cannot describe it in words. That is what I felt only with a paint brush. May you enjoy the beauty of your day and may you find your easel friendly.

Blue and Yellow make a bright and cheery combination for a painting. This painting is bringing cheer to a new home. We in life always say that if you have something that doesn't work right it is a lemon. How can such a bright and happy color fruit get such a reputation. It is because when we cut it open and it is so tart it puckers our lips and leaves a sour taste. I am here to claim the beauty of the lemon and say that when joining with great friends and we gather lemons together we can become beautiful and sweet. May you be the sweet lemon of life and may you find your easel friendly.
