Spring is here and the flowers are starting to bloom.  Carmel California seems to be full of the Calla Lilly flowers and other tiny flowers.  The colors are a feast for the eyes and the flowers blow in the salt air winds.  The inner twinning of the flowers makes them seem like the best of friends.  This painting will remind you of all those stunning cottage gardens.

This is the first painting I have worked on in a month since coming down with pneumonia.  How many brain cells does it take to do a painting?  Must be allot since during the painting came down with a major headache.  Will have to wait a little longer to get back to the easel.

Roses are so wonderful and delicate at the same time.  There are so many different varieties to pick but my favorite is usually the old fashion type.  Sweet hubby liked my small painting and bought a beautiful elegant frame for this little rose.  It is now hanging in the dining room.
