This is the last workshop in my studio for this year!  A couple spots left so hurry to join in on the fun of learning how to give each painting their own personality and to create beautiful brushwork.  Paint with other fun artist.  Short demo first thing on lesson for the day then you paint the rest of the time.  Loads of individual attention since I do not book more than 7 in the class. You are provide the set up materials and individual light boxes and easels if needed.

Fall is coming with all it's warm colors but the last of the summer flowers are doing their last blooms.  Could not resist painting this flower garden in Osage County.  The pink flower had such a glowing personality so it became the center of the garden scene to showcase it's beauty.

Many artist have said Pat I can't paint all those petals.  Well I agree you can't unless you are a realism artist.  I am a Representational artist that means you give it a personality of what it represents to you and your viewer.  You take what you see and simplify the shapes and forms and come up with the composition that best makes a statement for that flower.  These are the last of the garden roses and I always hate to see them go but I had fun painting these roses on my Birthday.
