Marigolds are hot colored flowers so to me they are just Hot Little Mama's.  Add a little blue flow and blue Chinese vase and there you go.  To add to the spice of life a little bit of garlic to keep things lively.  May you find the hot side of your life and may you find your easel friendly.

WINTER'S SPRING BY PAT MEYER

This was a new challenge for me.  Painting a winter setting along a mountain spring.  My usual enjoyment in painting is to have strong colors in my subjects.  This out door painting was done standing outside on a cool winter/spring day.  Asking myself were is the color but when I looked closer I saw some slight changes in colors.  May you search for the beauty and color in all that you see and may you find your easel friendly.

The Buttercups are blooming everywhere.  Their greener is seen way before you see the actual flower.  The Buttercup seems to say spring is on the way.  Saying that it would always be nice to have some friends over for  the coming of Spring.  The pansy should be invited along since it has been our faithful flower all winter providing color and a happy face.  Who are you gathering with this Spring season?  May your friends be plenty and may your easel be friendly.
