JUST A MEMORY BY ARTIST PAT MEYER

20 X 16 OIL ON LINEN
PAT@MEYER.NET

PAINTED FOR
HUNTSVILLE, AL MUSEUM SHOW
SPRING 2014

This delightful ballerina has just a memory for the world in which she has been performing.  While Degas painted his ballerina's most of them were nameless and faceless in his paintings.  The stage is the place where memories can be found both on stage and by the audience viewing the performers.  May this JUST A MEMORY  live on everyday

Just got invited to do a big show next Spring and am trying to figure out what to paint and also get myself up and running.  These little pansies were hanging out in the studio today with me so they became the models of the day.  Watch for new big pieces that will be coming out for the show.

This is the latest and probably final pumpkin painting for the season.  After buying the pansies for the set up the other day my heart went back to wanting to paint flowers.  This painting is still on the easel and has all the warm tones just in time for the fall season.

SOLD

My favorite time of year is fall with all the warm colors.  Normally I paint in warm tones, my house is decorated in warm tones and I even have a red car.  Do you ever look at your life and understand what you like.  Warm colors and bright colors just make me happy.  This Pumpkin is in Paradise because he is surrounded by warm tones.
