Latest painting of my morning walks in the woods. The leaves are starting to show their bright greens and the little flowers are peeking their heads out to show all their glory.  It is my break for the day to take a walk to energize myself and to calm my mind.

This 30 minute demo was to help artist see that you can capture an expression of the subject matter by just looking at what the subject is saying.  When sitting down to the easel I study the subject to seeing what it is telling  me.  Then I figure out placement, values, drawing etc.  Try setting a timer for 30 minutes and see what you can do in that short time.

The mornings are still cool and a dull haze hangs in the air during my morning walks in the woods.  While strolling these quiet places my eye spots these tiny signs of Spring showing that hope is eternal  knowing that God provides.
