Doesn't Meadowland Park sound like a place we all should live.  The relaxing side of town were all your troubles just melt away.  This neighborhood looks like it should be in a movie with it's tree lined streets, children playing, people walking the dog and just visiting.  The day was so beautiful I jumped out of bed got the painting gear ready and off to paint.  Had to set up street side and watch for cars while trying to paint.  The things artist do for fun!

BEAUTIFUL DAY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD BY PAT MEYER

8 X 10 ORIGINAL OIL ON LINEN
PAT@MEYER.NET
$100

What a glorious day to get to paint.  The birds are singing the wind has a gentle breeze and the sun is shining.  Doesn't get much better than that.  The flowers are blooming everywhere so let's go paint.  The white house with all the bushes blooming in front of it just made me stop the car get out the gear and start painting.  Hope you like the fresh new painting on the easel.

While waiting to leave to go to the Mayo Clinic I  needed to do something.  The Lord provides by allowing me to paint.  This little lily was a life saver for me today to keep my mind busy.  So hence the title for this painting.

WAITING ON SPRING BY ARTIST PAT MEYER

SOLD

12 X 16 OIL ON LINEN

This painting started as an on line blog suggestion and grew from there.  Really it kept growing.  Well today I stood back and looked at it and said lets rethink this whole thing.  I took out allot of the flowers, pushed the other flowers into the background, changed the table cloth color and pumped up some of the other aspects to the painting.
