The last of the pansies are growing in the yard so before planting their replacements I decided to dig some up and put them in vases to paint.  The wild and wonderful freedom they displayed was like they were dancing in the vase.  Oh to behave any way you want and still look beautiful.  That is a gift from God.  May you dance as if no one is looking and may you find your easel friendly.

What a glorious spring day to paint on location.  Aunt Carolyn was so kind to let me trek across her pasture and hike down into the creek bed to enjoy such an spell binding site.  This painting brings back great memories of the location hearing the birds chirping, early morning sunshine, the stream rippling past.   Oh what a joy it is to have experiences like this.  May you experience something that stays in your mind today and may you find your easel friendly.
