PALM SUNDAY ROSES BY PAT MEYER

AVAILABLE

Palm Sunday starts Holy Week. As Jesus rode into the city and all the palms where waving in his honor I wonder if there where any roses laid at his feet. Each time you think about giving flowers to show someone that you love them you usually give roses as a sign of undieing love and affection. Today I painted these roses in honor of My Lord and Savior showing him my love and thankfulness for all that he did for me. May you show love for the Lord and may you find your easel friendly.

This beautiful model Lauren could easily be my painting muse. She has such grace, style and beauty. The perfect model. Her look can change with just a movement of her jesture. The look she provided this day was what I call just Dreamie! The softness of her mouth and eyes just drew me into her gaze. GOING SIMPLE BY PAT MEYER

NOT AVAILABLE

When life starts getting to complicated and we just can't figure things out sometimes we need to go back to the simpliest forms. Get to the basics. Lesley Humphrey a great artist, told us in all her wisdom sometimes to be free and explore where we should be in life we have to do it simple. Like painting your painting on a brown paper bag. That is just what I did in this quick study. Brown paper bag painting that allowed me the freedom not to worry about making any mistakes. Usually the expensive canvas we tend to hold back just a little afraid of messing it up but on brown paper their is total freedom. May you find your simpliest form in life and may you find your easel friendly.
