I See Yellow

This is the 3rd painting in this series. Yellow is the last of the 3 primary colors. Now you must choose if it is Red, Blue or Yellow that you like the best. The fields are a blaze with the color of yellow. Yellow cheers us up and makes us feel warm and yummy inside. May your days be filled with color and delight and may you find your easel friendly.

I See Blue

Well we started off by seeing red. Now we have the calming color of Blue. Blue is the type of color that comforts the soul. Water is blue and people are drawn to water because of the tranquil feeling it gives. These beautiful Bluebonnets that God gives us makes us just plain happy. What does blue do for you? May you have calm in your life and may you find your easel friendly.

Tisha

This model had an intense look of determination. What fun to practice drawing such an interesting model. She had a beautiful face and loads of black hair. Hope you enjoy seeing how a portrait will come to life in a future painting. First starts with a drawing then a color study and in the end a great painting. May you enjoy practicing a joyful event today and may you find your easel friendly.

Bluebonnet State of Mind

Texas is known as the Bluebonnet State. Before moving to Texas I had not gotten to enjoy the full joy of Spring with all the waves of bluebonnets in the fields. The scent is so divine! When walking thru a field of bluebonnets not only does the beauty overwhelm you but the scent of the flowers fill your soul. You are now in a bluebonnet state of mind. May you enjoy the flowers of Spring and May you find your easel friendly.

Follow Me

I think that God used simple everyday things to remind us to Follow Him. This is Easter Week and it reminds us that we should always be following him just as these baby ducks follow their mom. He will direct our daily paths and guide us in the right way. May you follow God in your daily lives and may you find your easel friendly.

Spring Roses

The first roses of Spring are blooming on the bushes. Their beauty showing with fresh morning dew on them is a great gift. Many times we forget to look around and see each little miracle and blessing of the day. May your day be one filled with noticing your blessings of the day and may you find your easel friendly.
