This beautiful sweet girl was a model for our group to practice their portrait skills. She sat for us for about and hour and half. We work hard to capture the person in a very short time. We are so busy trying to draw, figure out paint colors, composition, values and edges while the model sits. While I was painting I wondered what thoughts might be going through her precious mind. It is hard on the model to sit and be still so they must try to think of wonderful things. May you have time to sit and reflect on calming thoughts today and may you find your easel friendly.
