In Memory

Sold
Today is Memorial Day and our thoughts are on all the fallen soldiers. It only seem right to give flowers in memory of all they have done for each of us. No greater gift can one give for another than lay down their life so that we might live. We may be enjoying the day with family and friends but stop to pause and think of the families that have lost a loved one and pray for their comfort and thank them for their sacrifice. May you find time for memories and may you find your easel friendly.

Sweet Scents

Well I never knew how great hydrangea smell.  While having this flower in my studio I was overwhelmed with the fragrant smell.  The wonderful scent coming from this gorgeous flower lifted my spirits while I painted.  Not only the beauty of this plant but the sweet glorious smell filled my studio.  What lifts your spirit today?  It could be the simple thing of a flower.  May your spirits soar today and may you find your easel friendly.

Spring Fling

SOLD

By now you have realized that I really love Spring. The antique pitcher that a friend of mine let me use and the old grandmother creamer just combined for such a lovely Spring painting. The flowers where picked along the road and the colors the Lord gives us are just wonderful. My only regret is that I don't feel that I could ever improve on what the Lord provides. My only hope is to portray it in such a fashion as to provide lovely memories of the day. May your day be as lovely as these Spring flowers and may your easel be friendly.
