Texas Wild Flower Seeds

Wow!  All the Texas wild flowers along the side of the road have just been beautiful.  Of course, I just had to pick some to paint.  As I was picking these beautiful flowers I thought I need to buy some of these seeds for my yard.  To be a true Texan you should try to grow some blue bonnets.  Hopefully you see all this in the painting.  Seeds to be planted, flowers that bloom and the gift of water to make them grow.  A little umbrella to give them shade and comfort.  All these things remind me of what the Lord does for us.  Are you planting your seeds to watch them grow?  May you be growing and may you find your easel friendly.

Garden Club Flowers

This painting was done as a demo for a garden group.  Of course I had to do flowers.  The garden club had these beautiful flowers for me to paint.  I am always amazed at how many people have the same love of flowers that I do.  These ladies where the experts on what makes them grow.  Isn't life great when we all can share our special gifts with each other.  These ladies shared their flowers and experience of growing them while I shared my translation of the flowers into a painting for them.  What fun for all.  May you share your gifts with others and may you find your easel friendly.

Best Of Show

SOLD

Several of you have asked why I had not put my Best of Show on my blog so here it is. To my surprise at the Montgomery County Conroe Art League I took the big prize. The judge was from a Gallery and is a accomplished painter in his own right and was very kind with his comments on my art. Of course, I loved him. Hope you enjoy it also and may you find your easel friendly.

Falls Coming

SOLD

Yes, I know Fall is not coming right now but this painting is going to a new home and wanted to share it with you before it leaves my house. Each one of my paintings bring back special memories of time and place that I painted it. Last fall I fell in love with the little pale pumpkin and had to put it in a painting. I took this one to several shows and won blue ribbons with it. Then recently it went to an exhibit where someone else loved it as much as me. Say goodbye and hope that it brings joy into their live. May you find your easel friendly.
