Think Spring

Doesn't this painting make you think of Spring.  Robin eggs, flowers and bright colors.  Spring is upon us.  Most of us are complaining about the pollen in the air with  all that brings to our bodies.  Pollen is God's gift of renewing the earth.  All the trees coming back to life the beautiful flowers blooming every where and the green green grass.  The colors are just a feast for our eyes even though your eyes may be watering from the pollen.  Enjoy this beautiful time of year as the earth has a rebirth and may you find your easel friendly.

Mother's Gift

When I was a little girl each year for Easter my Sunday School Teacher would have us plant some pansies in a little cottage cheese carton and have us give them to our Mother's for Easter.  Isn't it funny how a simple act of love can remain with you all your life.  Every time I plant pansies I think of my Easter giving tradition to my Mother.  To this day I still give my Mother things with pansies on them in the Spring.  What simple reminders do you have?  May you have a blessed Easter and May you find your easel friendly.

Christ Promise

SOLD

The greatest season of the year is upon us. EASTER Each of these pieces represent a promise that Christ made to us. The red, the blood, the dogwood tree the cross was made of, the crown, fruit of the vine and water. All these things represent everlasting life that Christ has provided for us. What a blessing for all that want to receive. This painting was done for a special friend of mine that is a dedicated servant of Christ. She is always, loving, giving and selfless for others. What a great inspiring friend. May you find your Easter special and remembering all that Christ has done for you and may you find your easel friendly. Pat

Spring Excitment

As a painter I get so excited to see Spring coming.  Just this week I saw these sweet little flowers blooming in the bushes.  I set up a table in the back yard poured a glass of wine an arranged some of these blooms in a small vase.  With the sun shinning the earth springing back to life and the bird singings it was just a perfect Texas Spring day.  All these moments just make me get so excited to see what else God has in store for Spring.  May you enjoy the beauty of this Spring and May you find your easel friendly.  Pat

Best Friends

SOLD

When visiting my Grand daughter recently I watched her play with her best friend. When we are children we are so happy to have someone to play with, laugh with and share time with. It made me remember my best friend Susan as I was growing up and all the fun we had together. The nice thing I noticed about best friends today for kids is that they come in all sizes, ethnic backgrounds and cultural. It is so nice to see the way children today are so loving and accepting of each other no matter what their nationality might be. It reminds me of the song we sang in church as a child about precious in his sight. Do you now have friends that are precious in your sight and are you loving, forgiving and loyal as a friend? May you enjoy a friend today and may you find your easel friendly. Pat
